When the family patriarch is murdered, seven women find themselves trapped together in his mansion to solve the mystery.

High school professor Guido is a hopeless romantic whose life falls apart after his girlfriend leaves him. Paolo, a former student of his, helps him in getting out of his depression for a better chance to become a PE teacher himself.

And then there are the encounters with friends, musicians, Vinicio Capossela, Samuele Bersani, Paolo Fresu's trumpet resounding in the empty spaces of the grand hotel where, between identical days marked by care and treatment, the story, the memory, but also the future take shape as Ornella prepares to become a fantastic creature made of voice and dreams, destined for eternity.
