Desperation drags a man to start working for an assassin in this thriller. Rob is an all-American guy, but he loses his naiveté when he journeys to London to find his girlfriend. Just before she dumps him, he learns that she has been earning money in the British city by stripping. With empty pockets and a broken heart, Rob does the only thing he can: become an assistant to a hitman named Frank.

Desperate to make a mark on the film industry and to prove his ever-doubting parents wrong, James endeavours to complete the unfinished horror movie, resulting in a murderous obsession.

Born from a passion for the golden age of slasher films, "Dead Man's Lake" is a story drawn from the brain of Bloody creator Ben Franklin, who takes Directing duties for the first time. Armed with a script from Joel Morgan, the team set about creating an 80's period horror that would capture the spirit of that era whilst giving it a unique Bloody Cuts killer twist.
