Panagiota Vlanti (Athens, 28 March 1969) is a Greek actress. She was born and raised in Athens. At the age of 16, she took part in the films "Girls for... a Pinch" and "Radio-Heels", which led her to decide to study acting. Completing her studies in acting and the Theodosiadis Drama School in 1993, she made her television debut 1 year later, in some episodes of the series "The Unknown" and "Love and Passion", having small roles. In the 1994-1995 season she became more widely known through her participation in the series "I Lygeri" on ET1. 7.4"Kokkinos Kyklos" is a series of standalone episodes based on crimes that shocked public opinion. However, the stories have been altered so that neither the people nor the situations are recognizable. The heroes of the series are sometimes the perpetrators and sometimes the victims, and their stories extend from the boundaries of drama to those of thriller. How far do these stories deviate from the truth? As much as people’s opinions differ amongst themselves, since each of us has their own personal truth. For this reason, the series doesn't simply aim to recreate a story or re-imagine characters. It doesn’t only want to entertain.
