'Isyarat' takes the innovative approach of bringing together five young directors, Asmirandah, who made Teman Bayangan (Shadow friend); Monty Tiwa (Lost and Found); Adhyatmika (Flora); Donny Alamsyah (Tanda Bahaya or Alarm); and Reza Rahadian (Gadis Indigo or Indigo girl), to create a series of separate but interconnected supernatural tales.

Throughout his life, Raka has always been single. His love was rejected 22 times. His 23rd target is Amelia. Learning from the experience of previous failures, Raka learns to be patient not to rush to express his heart.
