This documentary is a tribute to the founder of Bolívar Films on the occasion of the 61st anniversary of this production company, which presents, through valuable testimonies and unpublished images, the life and work of Luis Guillermo Villegas Blanco and his legacy in the Venezuelan film industry.

Gaspar Urbieta works as a typographer in Maracaibo. The National Guard convinces him to infiltrate an organization of Colombian gold smugglers. Gaspar will experience situations of fear, humour, intrigue and romance with a beautiful and enigmatic blonde. His secret will be so incredible that if he told it, no one would believe it!

In César Miguel Rondón's adaptation, a different origin story is presented. The fisherman Ismael (Félix Loreto) is unfaithful to his wife Cayita (Ana Karina) with a witch, Carmelina (Ileana Aloma). She swears revenge when she sees Ismael return to Cayita's arms and casts a curse that will cause the fisherman's death, setting his house on fire. Faced with the tragic event, Cayita, frightened, screams and begs the townspeople for help to save her son, who was inside the house when the fire started. Cayita's son dies alongside Ismael. It is then that she, crazed with grief, cries out for her son for eternity.

José Gregorio Hernández (Flavio Caballero) was a doctor who dedicated his life to serving the poor, the sick and the dispossessed in times when no one took them into account. Every day he attended to a large number of people who required his services without charging fees, which gave him great fame in the population.

“Nude with Oranges” is a film set during a civil revolt in the mid-19th century where Caribbean myths affect the lives of two characters – an indigenous man enlisted in the Liberal Army and a mute white woman – who develop a mysterious link while seeking a new life.

Commissioner Leon (Miguel Angel Landa) investigates the murder of a woman in a population near the capital. The woman was raped before death and the case is complicated when his brother becomes the prime suspect, since it is a priest (Eduardo Serrano). Because of the implications that inquiries might have, Leon is pressured to keep the event as a "crab" (Cangrejo, or a unsolvable case), but he decides to comply with the law.
