Another strong generation of actors was given the opportunity. The successful premiere took place on November 15, 1996, and the production ran for twenty long years. A black comedy about suicides. Good old England, 1937—a spooky night scene on the moors, silhouettes of trees, the distant silhouette of a small castle reflected in the glistening water. Based on the novel by French writer Jean Labord, who was a long-time court reporter for the Paris newspaper France-Soir, Jiří Hubač wrote a compelling story with a strong ethical message. The television film of the same name, directed by Zdeněk Zelenka, tells the story of the eternal fluctuation of justice between truth and its outward appearance. It focuses on a case of judicial error, the victim of which is a young nurse, Genevieve Leblanc. She is accused of giving a lethal injection to her lover, government advisor Dupré. In the court investigation, two prominent lawyers clash: Judge Gaudet, who gradually becomes convinced that the girl is innocent, and attorney Cassidis, who elegantly manipulates witnesses, facts, and words.

A seemingly complicated story about the search for the murderer of two dead people who are first found, only to disappear again shortly afterwards. No matter how hard Commissioner Baxter tries, his investigation is constantly disrupted by Mrs. Piper, whose interference stems not only from her sense of importance, but also from the fact that many, many years ago, she had an affair with the then-young Baxter.

The story takes place in two kingdoms—Tatranský and Vltavský. The royal parents of the former have a son of marriageable age, while the latter have a daughter at an age when princesses are most interested in choosing a noble groom, preferably at a lavish ball. However, Princess Liduška is interested in only one thing in the whole world—her beloved carrier pigeons. She devotes all her time to them, and the only man she communicates with, of course via pigeon post, is an unknown fellow breeder. But Prince Vranko is also not interested in getting married and ascending the throne... And to top it all off, the clever maneuvers that Liduška and Vranko use to thwart their parents' wedding plans are complicated by a magical duo—the wizard Čaro and the witch Boska.

A romantic comedy about the inseparable friendship, failed romances, and unhappy flings of two likeable young women.

A fairy tale based on Charles Deulin's story about how dancing was forbidden in the castle, yet every morning there was a pile of worn-out shoes in the princesses' chambers. The king had great trouble with his daughters, Princess Maria, Klara, and Lina. They always got up at noon, complaining of headaches and fatigue, looking pale and emaciated. But at night... The secret of the three princesses is revealed by the basket maker Peter. If Peter had not fallen in love with the youngest of the princesses, no one would ever have found out where she and her two sisters spent their nights, and why it was so difficult to wake them up in the morning. Peter is helped by a fairy who, as it turns out, is the princesses' mother.

Princess Antonia rules harshly, squeezing her subjects, but the royal treasury benefits. The success of her reign fills Antonia with unchristian pride, she is domineering, greedy, unkind to her royal mother and to the baker Matthias, who genuinely loves her. How else, comes the just punishment. Princess Antonia finds herself and her entire castle in the power of the infernalists, and she has plenty of time to reckon with her conscience.

The title character of this somewhat bitter comedy is Klára Zárubecká, a saleswoman at a train station buffet, a resolute and energetic woman who, with enviable enthusiasm, attempts to restore her family's reputation and thus ensure a happy future for her younger brother. In her everyday life, when Klára forces her customers to buy kittens, rejects a persistent admirer nicknamed Funebrák, and saves money for a large, albeit somewhat neglected villa, her stepbrother Fanda arrives with his girlfriend Erika, and her stepfather Viktor arrives with his mistress, wanting to borrow money from her, as he has done so many times before.
