In 2026, the Eurovision Song Contest celebrates its 70th anniversary. With around 160 million viewers, the ESC is one of the world's biggest music spectacles. This documentary looks back on seven decades filled with music, emotions and passion. From its beginnings as a chanson competition in 1956 through flamboyant outfits and spectacular performances to unforgettable victories, bitter defeats and the political debates of the recent past. Stars like Jean Paul Gaultier, Hape Kerkeling, Tom Neuwirth (aka Conchita Wurst), and Germany's first ESC winner, Nicole, share their experiences on and off stage. The documentary paints a multifaceted portrait of the ESC, highlighting its profound influence on music, fashion, and society, as well as on the LGBTQIA+ community, thus becoming a vibrant journey through seven decades of European pop culture history.

The East Frisian has been on stage for an incredible 50 years, delighting audiences with his anarchic, silly humor. Many Otto sketches, songs, rhymes and sounds have long been part of the collective memory, have become cultural assets and are quoted by heart by adults and children alike. At this big comedy get-together, the stars of the scene pay tribute to Otto and his timeless classics. The comedy party pulls out all the stops: the most popular sketches are reinterpreted on stage, films show the highlights from 50 years, and of course there is also lots of music. Bully Herbig, Bülent Ceylan, Jürgen von der Lippe, Ralf Schmitz, Sascha Grammel, Max Giermann and Cosma Shiva Hagen are among those taking part. The Friesenjungs, the Spider Murphy Gang, Erste Allgemeine Verunsicherung, Wolfgang Ambros and Ingrid Thurnher will provide plenty of music.

Shortly before his retirement, provincial detective Hartwich has more mysteries to solve than in his last 20 years of service put together: First, the charred body of a man in a diving suit is discovered after a forest fire, but the nearest lake is miles away. Then a dismembered female corpse turns up, wrapped in the bag of a drinks store that has sent out 1000 of them. And to make matters worse, Hartwich's successor, the eager Tobias Kutschke, starts work just as the investigation begins...
