KVN is a Russian humour TV show and competition where teams compete by giving funny answers to questions and showing prepared sketches. The programme was first aired by the First Soviet Channel on November 8, 1961. Eleven years later, in 1972, when few programmes were being broadcast live, Soviet censors found the students' impromptu jokes offensive and anti-Soviet and banned KVN. The show was revived fourteen years later during the Perestroika era in 1986, with Alexander Maslyakov as its host. It is one of the longest-running TV programmes on Russian Television. It also has its own holiday on November 8, the birthday of the game, which KVN players celebrate every year since it was announced and widely celebrated for the first time in 2001.

Present time. A squad of young soldiers of the Russian army during the march-throw splits from the main group. In order to save time, they decide to cut the path, but get into the strange fog, which transfers them to the past, right into the World War the Second. Boys of fourteen end up in the Suvorov School, some thanks to family tradition, some for the sake of high ideals, and some not even of their own free will. Having entered Suvorovskoe, the guys at first do not imagine the full extent of the load, and most importantly, the responsibility that will have a profound impact on their subsequent lives.

And now, through a snow-covered forest in pitch darkness among centuries-old fir trees, our heroes are riding in a "shishig" on a special mission ... on a narrow track only headlights are visible ... After some time they arrive at a bunker lost in the forest ... What kind of special task can be on New Year's Eve do they wonder? Among other things, it turns out that Ensign Danilych, Private Poghosyan and Nurse Dasha were forgotten in a hurry. And these three, having decided to catch up with those who left, try to get to the place themselves and get lost in the night forest ... How will this adventure end, because there is very little time left before the New Year?
