Baris, Cenk and Deniz prepares a surprise party to celebrate Ayhan's birthday. Ayhan is lack of love, unemployed and he doesn't have a goal in life. Baris is engaged and has to do his military service. Deniz has to marry a girl, whom his pious father arranged for him. And Cenk is about to be a father soon. These four men who are in different stages in their adult life, start to eat, get drunk, tell stories to each other, get blue, get angry, fight each other, confess their sins and sing songs to the sky on the raki table which was set in the sea at an Aegean bay from dusk till dawn.

The film tells the story of Bulut and Müjde, who are forced to work together to get rid of a murder crime they did not commit, and find themselves in the middle of an adventure they never expected.

Nesrin and Hatun are two Kurdish cleaning women living in Istanbul. While Nesrin tries to survive with her little daughter, trying to understand why her husband left her, Hatun dreams of buying a house in the district where they clean.

Two historical incidents that deepened the friendship between Japan and Turkey are connected in this story of friendship and compassion: In the night of 16 September 1890 the Turkish frigate Ertuğrul is caught up in a typhoon and sinks off the Japanese coast. Risking their own lives, local villagers are able to rescue 69 Turkish sailors. Although being very poor and having hardly to eat, the villagers share what little they have with strangers from a country 9,000 kilometers away. 95 years later, during the Iran-Iraq War, more than 300 Japanese are stranded in Tehran. In the morning of 19 March 1985 a Turkish Airlines aircraft takes off for Tehran to evacuate the Japanese. But the remaining Turks at Tehran Mehrabad Airport still need to be convinced that they won't be able to board their own country's rescue flight.

A young man leaves his work and his girlfriend behind for a while and leave for Anatolia. After a short while, he found himself in a friendly village in an idyllic and farce mountain village. After a while, he realizes that he will no longer be able to return to the village. In fact, he made an inner journey towards his own past and his true personality.
