The film was named after the short story “Petya of My Petya” written by the exceptional young poet Petya Dubarova. The director Alexander Kossev and the writers Valentina Angelova and Nelly Dimitrova lift the vail of the past to present Petya Dubarova and her talent to today’s young generations.

Nikola is a middle-aged man struggling to make sense of his life in his native Bulgaria and to say goodbye to his loved ones before leaving for Germany in search of a better life. This is a story about the last days of the past and the hope of a new beginning.

Grandma Genoveva wants to die. On her birthday, Vasil breaks into her house to rob it. They make a deal – he will kill her, and she will bequeath her house to him. Soon everything goes wrong. This leads to a series of comic situations involving three outsiders – a hockey fan, a puppeteer, and a crazy romantic.

A road movie set in present day Bulgaria, a country remains optimistic, mainly because all the realists and pessimists have left. At a meeting with his banker, a small business owner, who drives a cab to make ends meet, discovers the bribe he will have to pay to get a loan has doubled. The ethics board that reviewed his complaint about extortion now wants its share of the action. At his wit's end, he shoots the banker and then himself. The incident sparks national debate on talk radio about how despair has taken over civil society. Meanwhile, six taxi drivers and their passengers move through the night, each in hope of finding a brighter way forward.

There is a small village near the sea and behind the state border electronic alarm system. Its last inhabitants are seven old toughs prone to practical jokes and easy living. At the funeral of the last elderly woman in the village they get fired up with the idea to hire a "tart" and throw a party. The girl in question has been fired from the striptease bar in the nearby town. She arrives with her little son. The old toughs, the girl and the boy establish friendly relations. Meanwhile a lieutenant from the frontier post falls in love with the girl. Later on two more stripteasers pay a visit to the first one and make friends with the old guys. A small group of foreign hunters and their guide join the company due to a raging storm. One of the stripteasers devises a "business plan" which suits everybody and soon everything in the village looks incredibly fine - until the goons of Madame Cornelia come to get things in order.

After spending fifteen years in prison a former race car driver returns to his old life in order to fulfill the promise he made to the love of his life.

The group of tourists go to the black see in Bulgaria. Really funny stuff happens all the time which is the ordinary state of the people's behavior in this local place. they get stranded in an Island near the see and start to get paranoid, also in the same time the mayor is drinking and is not sending a rescue party . they think that they will end up dead in the island, but what happens next? - Really funny things all the time.

The idea is to make the past present with... films.

NATO operative Jacques Kristoff (Jean-Claude Van Damme) is summoned into action—on his birthday, no less—to track down Galina Konstantin (Laura Harring), who has stolen an extremely valuable and dangerous top-secret container from the Slovakian Government. High in the mountains of Macedonia a team of young film makers are making a documentary about Katerina Vandeva - a descendant of an ancient and very famous family. Several former state and party functionaries interfere in the filmmaking in the hopes of manipulating Katerina's confessions for their own purposes. Nikola, the director, and his friends have to make the choice - whether to compromise with their consciences and their art, (as normally happens here in the Balkans), or whether to preserve Katerina's message.

Two trains uncontrollably move towards each other within temporal boundaries of a human life. One of them is taking a genial young man to his unforeseen future; he would marry his beloved; have a son; become a brilliant doctor; do his duty and save the live of enemies of the communist regime; get a 20-years sentence for that. Prison would turn out to be an unbearable nightmare; his wife would eventually give in to the tortures of the authorities and seek divorce; this would mean no one to visit him in prison. 15 years without any news about his child, only a snapshot of his family on which the tree of them are smiling and happy.

A 70-year-old man, former mayor of a village, recalls his life: the difficult post-war years, the forced collectivisation of the land, the migration of the population. He has sacrificed his personal life trying to perform his office conscientiously.

In the spring of 1945 the war is still going on, but in Bulgaria the communists have already seized the power. The new rulers do justice according to their personal interests. In this chaos the main character, an actress fallen on hard times, wants to preserve her social status with every available means. She claims to be a Communist activist and, in order to gain access to the theater even shows a photo with the Bulgarian communist revolutionary Georgi Dimitrov's dog However, in order to survive, she has to resort to betrayal.

In 19th century, a new judge and four of his friends come in Bulgarian town with the knowledge that a golden treasure, once belonging to a Turkish ruler, is buried in the vicinity. But other people are also in search of treasure.

Night on the outskirts of a big city. Several dump trucks are chasing random people on the road at high speed. They threaten to crush them. What makes these drivers so violent? The investigator puts them before the court on their own conscience. They should answer the question: "am I a good person?"
