This propaganda film from the early years of socialist transformation in Hungary depicts kulak sabotage in production cooperatives. The prosperous peasant Ignatz Hato, one of the best farmers in the village, joins the Two Octobers cooperative, and soon all the small peasants follow him. The village rich, led by Lili Sohar, watching the great expansion of the cooperative, try to break up the cooperators with each other. Sohar's attempt bears fruit and Hato leaves the cooperative. Next, Lili Sohar tries to convince Ignatz Hato that she is planning to create a rival team of new rich people and urges him to join her. Ignatz refuses and does not give in to the blackmail. Lili's lover, a former gendarme, shoots party secretary Bozhine. At the wounded Božine's bedside, Ignác admits his mistake and asks to be accepted back into the cooperative. Sándor, the president of the cooperative, realizes that the collective should not prevent those who want to work honestly from joining.

The story, which takes place in the reform era, centres around Mrs. Déry, a legendary actress, who, along with her fellow actors and actresses, travels around the country to become the herald of the Hungarian language, performing in villages and towns up and down the land as strolling players, a woman who is not put off by the prospect of starvation and the dearth of a home to return to and security to live in.

Kocsis Ferenc excellent staff appointed the new director of public stores. Ilonka a talented fashion designer, Boriska a dear, Daniel, a overzealous, Klimke, a conservative sale and Glauziusz uncle, conscientious, honest book promotes the work. Ilonka initially rather just keep arguing, even though both of their lives off the job. The selfishness will love soon. He realises slowly that his immaculate name was needed as a cover for the corrupt loan transactions handled by the lords of the city.

The villa in the story of László Vadnai is for sale. The owner goes away and leaves the house to his butler, who also entrusts its safekeeping to an old friend. The friend immediately moves in with his niece, and two swindlers appear. But who is the seller and who is the buyer, and why the villa has to be sold at all, is a question that is only answered satisfactorily at the end of the film, after a lot of wall-crawling humour.

A Hungarian-language film loosely based on the 1883 operetta Eine Nacht in Venedig (A Night in Venice) by Johann Strauss II. The film was shot simultaneously while making the German film A Night in Venice (1934). Almost all the students of the secondary school at Igló are in love with Évike, daughter of professor Tirtsák. Petky Pali, the wild, rollicking son to the mayor is dreaming about her, too. One of his competitors, Szidor Ákos, denounces him to their teachers. The mayor is also informed about his son's doings, and his personal experiences substantiate the rumours. Yet he was not the better of it in his learning years at Igló! Pali is sacked, and Szidor is reprimanded for his intriguing. The world war breaks out. Pali, as well as his fellow students, goes to the front. Évi continues to wait for him faithfully, and the returning Pali, now an officer, asks her to marry him at the party for the one-time students of Igló.
