The Old Man – a master of ancient knowledge – and his daughter come and with sharing sowing seeds they try to save the community of dispersion. No spiritual leader, no aims. Driven by rapacity, One-Eyed kills the Old Man, rapes his daughter and while looking for the remaining seeds he kills Long-Legged with a sudden anger. At the end of the film, the survivors need to face with dramatic encounters and special temptations. Their redemption under the leadership of Lame’s young son is the pledge for the future.

Budapest, Hungary, Christmas 1957. The police captain of a small religious town orders a painting from a young girl, a famous painter who has recently arrived in the town. However, he does not receive the finished painting because she disappears before he can deliver it. A detective from the neighbouring magistrate's office arrives to investigate the mysterious crime, and soon the handcuffs are snapped on the culprit, a lonely 17-year-old teenager known to the whole town as a fool.
