Golden Earring earned a unique place in Dutch and international music history by scoring big single hits with Rock classics Radar Love and Twilight Zone. The men don't have a thing for big celebrations and anniversaries, but for the 50th anniversary an exception was made. By the end of 2015 a large anniversary concert took place at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam.

Naked III (2005) is an acoustic live performance by Golden Earring, Holland's longest standing rock band, recorded at entertainment and event venue Panama in Amsterdam. This concert is the follow-up to The Naked Truth (1992) and Naked II (1997). The concert includes songs that have never been played acoustically and well-known golden oldies.

In September 1992, recordings were made at Grand Café De Kroon on Rembrandtplein in Amsterdam for The Naked Truth. The project did not hit like a bomb, but over the course of 1993 the Naked Truth virus spread like wildfire and by the summer of 1993 the record was still in the top ten of the album chart. Golden Earring’s last performance ever, held at the Rotterdam Ahoy on 16th November 2019. The DVD includes 19 songs and was also released as a 2CD live album. This second unplugged concert by Golden Earring was recorded at the Luxor in Rotterdam in 1997 and features classics by the group that were missing from the first concert.

Earlier this year, the rock band GEarring, who have been performing at a unique height for decades, gave a concert at Ahoy Rotterdam. Barry, George, Rinus, and Cesar were in top form that evening, and the packed venue experienced highlight after highlight. The year 1984 was a memorable and exceptionally successful year for Golden Earring. When the lady smiles was released in early February, and became number 1 thanks to the controversial video by Dick Maas, which can be admired in the original version on this DVD. As well as the 3 other historical Dick Maas - Golden Earring videos, by the way. More original and better videos have never been made in the Netherlands. On March 3, the album N.E.W.S. from, (including 'When the lady smiles). That album also hit number 1 and stayed on the album chart for 18 weeks. And on March 7, Golden Earring started its 11th (!) - and in hindsight last - American tour of a total of 38 performances, which the group took to Hawaii.

The memorable concert of December 12, 1999, at the Groenoordhallen in Leiden is now available on DVD. For this "Last Blast of the Century," Golden Earring pulled out all the stops. Brass section, backing vocals, Robert Jan Stips, and Bertus Borgers were added to the quartet, giving the band an unparalleled boost. A strong set list, a fantastic light show, and stunning camera work complete the picture. Featuring tracks like "Another 45 Miles," "Paradise in Distress," "Twilight Zone," "Whisper in a Crowd," "She Flies on Strange Wings," "The Devil Made Me Do It," "When the Lady Smiles," "Going to the Run," "Radar Love," and "I Can't Sleep Without You." As a bonus feature, this DVD includes a backstage interview of over 18 minutes with the band members.
