The Legend of Space Sheriff Gavan is a special DVD released with Televi-Kun in 2012 to promote the film Space Sheriff Gavan: The Movie. It features the second Space Sheriff Gavan, Geki Jumonji and his partner, Shelly as well as the members of the Space Mafia Maku.

Born in affluent families among the Japanese mountains, two close cousins fall in love and have to suffer through the social constraints of their time.

Mysterious incidents occur around geiko in Fukagawa, and there is always the presence of a black cat at the scene of the tragedy. The woman, unaware of her presence, is pulled away by the banya, but a ronin, pretending to be a bouncer of the geisha district, appears and saves her, finally unraveling the fate of the woman.

Kotiyama is a swindler and extortionist, the head of a whole gang of crooks, usually posing as a poor monk; once he really took vows, but he was kicked out of the monastery long ago. He is enterprising, smart and not too cruel, so his accomplices love him. Posing as an envoy from the abbot of the Kennei Temple, Kotiama plays a show in front of Lord Matsue with an income of 150,000 koku, and extorts money from him. The film is based on the famous play by Kawatake Mokuami.

Fukami, a secretary engaged to company president Kaido, her employer, is invited by his close friends, the Nogis, to a three-day-two-night tour. The tour group is traveling in a luxurious coach to Lake Megami in the Tateshina Plains. On the way, they are disturbed to hear that Shirai, a hostess who was supposed to come along on the tour, has been murdered. And the next day, the body of Hasegawa, another tour member, is floating in Lake Megami...

Yuki Kimura, a company president's secretary, agrees to marry his son Yutaka on the president's recommendation. The silk branch was found in a dismembered corpse in the bathroom of her apartment, and the carved torso of the snake disappeared.
