Moscow, March 5th 1953. Stalin is dead. One day later, he is lying in state in an open coffin. Over one and a half million people move through the streets of Moscow. During five minutes of silence throughout the East Bloc time seems to stop, as the coffin is laid to rest in the Mausoleum at the Red Square. They can't believe that he has left them. Relations with Feliks didn't work out, and Natasha, leaving home, became a flight attendant — that is what she called her new profession. Once in a cafe, before the next flight, Natasha saw Yevdokimov. They met and began to meet. They experience their feelings for each other in different ways. By the power of her love, Natasha makes Yevdokimov understand what love is.
