Sidney is counting coconuts and dreams of getting a job as a circus elephant. He soon applies for a job which requires him to use his memory – to count coconuts!

At the age of twenty-nine, Elgar Enders "runs away" from home. This running away consists of buying a building in a black ghetto in the Park Slope section of Brooklyn. Initially, his intention is to evict the black tenants and convert the building into a posh flat. But Elgar is not one to be bound by yesterday's urges, and soon he has other thoughts on his mind.

The boys' credit has run out at the general store, and they are hungry. A tourist arrives asking for a guide to Mount Piney. He explains that there is a $100 prize for the first person to climb the mountain. The gang tries to beat the tourist to the top of Mount Piney by any means.

The Mystery Machine is stuck in Nowhere, leading the gang to seek help from Courage and his family.

The Junker, whose base of operations is beneath a junk yard in Good Haven, creates robots that "eat" metal. The Junker's robots consume cars, bridges and other structures. The Mighty Heroes attempt to contain the damage and eventually follow the robots back to the Junker's lair. But the villain traps the heroes inside a metal container, which he then crushes. Now, the Junker sicks his robots, saying they're free to consumer a "hero sandwich." But the heroes prevail, destroying the robots and capturing the Junker.

Possible is practicing for a barn dance when he is told that Mr. General's barn is burning. They offer to rebuild it for free, but Hill the builder says that he's the only one who is allowed to build anything. They try to get by him, but he stops them at every turn.

When news of a caravan coming to the jungle to find animals for a new circus act is brough to him, Sidney tries to prepare an act for the circus expedition. As usual, his attempts end opposite of his intentions: he scares off the leaders of the expedition, and they quickly sail back to the U.S. without an act at all.

Possible Possum hears there's a new barrel of dill pickles down to the general store, so he and his good buddies mosey on down the holler to the store. They strike a deal with the shopkeeper to bring down a load of goods from the train station in exchange for some o' them thar pickles. Now, you know Possible Possum ain't about to do no work, so they talk the bear into helping with an old railroad handcart, and o' course, they get into a heap o' trouble.

Sidney the elephant is looking for a mother, even though he's 44. The hippo and giraffe turn him down.
