Before the Seavers leave for a family vacation to San Francisco, they drop off their pets -- Chance, an adventurous American bulldog; Shadow, a wise golden retriever; and Sassy, a cautious cat -- at a friend's ranch. Follow the Prophet is an American film that was written by and stars Robert Chimento, which was created to show how polygamist lifestyles affect the children involved. In the film, a young girl escaping from a polygamist cult is aided by an Army Colonel and a renegade female Sheriff who join forces to save an even younger girl from a secret "marriage" to the cult's leader.

Dark and humorous, this extremely short film features a stream-of-conscious look at the writing process, told with animated images straight from the subconscious, or somewhere.

Portland, Oregon is the backdrop of this film that explores racism, greed, and class in a very corrupt city. Throw in the local Kiwanis Club and you have a very odd unpredictable film.
