A New York short story for anyone who has ever experienced awkward moments between appetizers and entrees. Filmed in fake documentary-style flashback, six guests recount the fateful events leading up to one incident.

Tortured manchild Danny returns to his family's abandoned island retreat and finds himself beset by fantasies of deceased ancestors, former lovers and concerned friends. Frazier is Danny's enigmatic father-figure, and the man Danny's deceased mother Alicia passionately loved but could not let herself have. Both men are prisoners of their pasts; neither can abandon their passionate devotion to Alicia.

Urban comedy takes us on a wild ride through the day-in-the-hood madcap adventures of Tidey Whitey Cleaner clerk Kyle Freeman and his co-worker and best friend William "Clem" Clemons. Kyle is late to work. As usual. And almost gets fired. Again. And so the day begins. What follows is classic "round the way" hijinks, baby-mama-drama, beat downs, con games, rejecctions, shootings, lies, science and fiction, paybacks, trouble, cappin', reunions, clownin' and a whole lot of madess goin' on. Will Kyle win back the affections of the beautiful Rachel? Will Clem's "speech" stand in the way of his chance with his dream girl? Will this crazy day turn into a "cool ass" one after all?

Two families bond when their teenage sons are killed in an explosion at a suburban mall only to discover one of their children is the prime suspect.

A love story set in the shadow of the shipyards of San Francisco. A young woman living with her much adored uncle Henry and domineering, abusive father, meets a penniless illegal immigrant, whose love gives her the insight and courage to finally break free and live her own life.
