They strike a deal with the shopkeeper to bring down a load of goods from the train station in exchange for some o' them thar pickles. Now, you know Possible Possum ain't about to do no work, so they talk the bear into helping with an old railroad handcart, and o' course, they get into a heap o' trouble.

In this Cinemascope Terrytoon, Spoofy is a zany little fox that comes to life on the animator's drawing board and subdues a western gunslinger with trick props and gadgets.

The Junker, whose base of operations is beneath a junk yard in Good Haven, creates robots that "eat" metal. The Junker's robots consume cars, bridges and other structures. The Mighty Heroes attempt to contain the damage and eventually follow the robots back to the Junker's lair. But the villain traps the heroes inside a metal container, which he then crushes. Now, the Junker sicks his robots, saying they're free to consumer a "hero sandwich." But the heroes prevail, destroying the robots and capturing the Junker.

Gaston Le Crayon is a French (kind of beatnik-looking) artist who brings his artwork to life. He's doing a famous painting to be. Movie director Alfred Fitchcock moves in next door. Fitchcock is making a movie about a man stranded in the frozen Arctic. Gaston takes it seriously. He paints a toaster, stuffs the freezing man in it, and pops him out like a piece of toast. Gaston thinks that he's doing a good deed. Fitchcock is furious.

The Ant is captured by a scientist and placed in an insect specimen container within the scientist's mobile laboratory, and fortunately for the Ant, his host does not approve of the Aardvark's Ant-snatching attempts.

Popeye is marrying Olive tomorrow; he's ecstatic. She has a dream of the future, including twin sons who prove to be a real handful. When Popeye comes by the next morning, he gets a frosty reception.

While Gaston LeCrayon is setting up his painting area on the sidewalk, a limousine zooms by and splashes mud all over the canvas. The wealthy woman, who was a passenger in that limousine, mistakes the mud-splashed canvas for "art" and invites Gaston to her mansion, wanting him to create a masterpiece with her expensive art supplies. Her husband, however, has different ideas.

When Foofle accidentally peels his own hat instead of an apple, he goes down to the store to buy a new hat. Unfortunately for him, his new hat blows away and now has to go to great lengths to get it back.

Hector is a scientist who builds himself a time machine. He goes back in time and experiences (and screws up!) many important historical events.

Astronut arrives on Earth, insists on trading his spaceship for the Sheriff's car, and wont take no for an answer.

For the first time ever, Howard has all his rooms rented out. Just as he's hanging up a "No Vacancy" sign, along comes a millionaire needing a room. Howard seats him in the lobby while he goes upstairs and tries to get one of his renters who is a bookworm to move in with a lonely sex siren so that he can have one of their rooms. When he gets the bookworm's nose out of his book, love blossoms.

As Popeye wins the job, Bluto starts a stampede and a fire simultaneously. With some spinach help, Popeye gets Bluto out of the way, douses the fire, and saves Olive from the stampede.

Audrey is sent to take a cake to Grandma. At Grandma's house, a burglar is robbing the place, but has to hide in bed from Audrey. Once uncovered, the burglar chases Audrey until Grandma comes to her rescue.
