Sarasa, a village girl, gets cheated by Soman, who visited the village for a few days. She dies giving birth to a boy, and Radha, her close friend, decides to look after the baby.

Benny, Venu, Keshu and Krishnankutty are four patients in a mental asylum. However, when they learn about Amitabh Bachchan's visit to Ernakulam, they plan an escape driven by their desires to see him.

The story is about Thilakan and his two adopted sons, one of them blind, Unni (Sreenivasan), and the other one deaf, Balan (Mukesh).
