When Katie and Makean delay their trick or treating to deliver the Candleman's Halloween Party invitations, they find themselves caught up in a spooky adventure filled with macabre monsters.

After losing their way on a cold, blustery Christmas eve, two children, Katie and Makean are rescued by their friend, the Candleman, an old sage who imparts wisdom, hot chocolate, and stories. Opening a weathered book, he begins reading the classic tale, The Night Before Christmas. Magically, Katie and Makean become characters in the poem where they learn the light of Christmas comes from the giver of all good gifts.

“A Pioneer Miracle” tells the story of 8-year-old Belle Richards, who, after disobeying her father’s counsel, finds herself and her brother in serious danger. With divine intervention, the pair survive a terrible rockslide, imprinting on Belle a lifelong lesson of faith, prayer, and the importance of obedience.
