NRThe Old Beekeeper brings a suggestive reflection on the pure soul of a brave simple man who strives to live honestly and selflessly. 5.7N Took the Dice is essentially a reworking of Eden and After made possible by the roll of a dice (scenes from the 1970 film were combined with outtakes and additional footage in an aleatory way). Robbe-Grillet was always interested in music and since he perceived Eden and After to be serial in nature, it only made sense that its sister film would stand in opposition to that.

10.0A film based on short stories by K. Przerwu-Tetmajer's Grey Eyes and M. Urban's Melted Heart. The heroines of both stories are young women with the same name - Kristka. They fight for their love, they both love with humility and surrender, but when necessary, they can be decisive and uncompromising. One is cruel in her love, the other fights for it with touching tenderness and kindness. These are not idyllic loves; they are full of life, full of raging blood...

Slovak partisans, bravely fighting against Nazi superiority, would never have succeeded to such an extent if they had not been supported by the villagers. Despite the threat of repression, it is the villagers who care for the wounded, hide them, and behave conscientiously. Although the film was made in the late 1960s, it fully adopts the patterns of partisan stories, perhaps the only thing it can be credited with is a more developed sense of authenticity in the story, characters, and setting.

8.5The children's detective story describes a thrilling and cheerful search for a lynx that someone stole from the zoo corner of the house of pioneers and young people (the creators apparently assume that large carnivores are commonly bred in the children's facility). However, the film is made completely ingeniously, the naïve plots hardly catch the eye. In one of the last roles, Vladimír Menšík will introduce himself as a police captain, leading a long-complicated investigation
