The film combines three short stories: Der Mond, "Tristan und Isolde" and "Aida". The themes of these short stories are sin, duty and love.

The movie shows a young man's life dramatically changed after his friend is murdered. It is ironic - if to look with today's eyes - and nostalgia evoking portrait of marginal society and environment in the early 1990s with allusions to the western cinema - film noir related themes, surrealistic features, avantgard cinema stylization and formal aesthetics.

Each one of us is like a comet - a piece of something big and beautiful, like a ball in motion! But in the life of a comet there are two great dares - the dare to separate from the rest of the mass and the dare to venture into the unknown. It is only through movement and ignorance that the comet is free.

After giving birth to a son, Catti and her husband Mikael get entangled in an organization that hides illegal immigrants in Sweden. They slowly realize that their picture perfect country in reality is built on police brutality, state coercion and inhuman immigration policies.
