His best-known works are his collaborations with her on all of her studio albums up to the 2005 release Aerial. Bush often plays standard instruments such as the guitar, mandolin, and harmonica, along with more exotic and unusual instruments, such as the balalaika, sitar, koto, and digeridoo. A singer struggles to dance well in rehearsal with her band. A power outage leaves her alone in the studio, reviewing her life, when a mysterious woman appears through the mirror and gives her a pair of Red Shoes. The cursed shoes dance beautifully, but endlessly. The singer is drawn irresistibly into the fey world beyond the mirror, where she must redeem three magic symbols from the mysterious woman in order to obtain release from the cursed shoes.

Groundbreaking and visionary, this is archival documentation of Kate Bush’s one and only tour. Originally known as the “Kate Bush Tour” as well as the “Lionheart Tour”, it later became known under the moniker “The Tour of Life”. The only official video release from the '79 tour was an abridged 12-song set titled “Live at Hammersmith Odeon” in 1981. In 1994, "Live at Hammersmith Odeon" was released as a VHS box set that contained a CD of the performance. This footage presents the tour performance from beginning to end and consists of all three acts as well as encores and backstage warm-ups. The audio is from the soundboard recording of the concert.
