Jill Robertson is a BAFTA nominated film and television director, best known for Ludwig (2024), Pennyworth (2022), Dalgliesh (2021), Humans (2018) Harlots (2017-18) and Last Tango in Halifax (2013). A former professional dancer and drama teacher she trained at the NFTS and began her career working in script development and production on films including Trainspotting, A Life Less Ordinary and Saving Grace.

Bums are constantly sleeping in his run down car and crashing on his lawn. He has a nagging mother who lives in a nursing home, and his best friend is a moocher. One day he comes up with the idea to become a bachelor clown.

Belfast, Christmas 1999. A poor, badly dressed woman is half walking, half stumbling down the road. She is tearful and her behaviour is so disturbed that passers-by look furtively at her before hurrying on. Her walk is purposeful though. She is hurrying to go somewhere specific. She stumbles towards a church that is lit up. As she approaches it we see a sign outside announcing "SERVICE FOR PEACE Belfast Christmas together. All Denominations, 8pm"
