A daughter inherits a massive amount of fortune from his deceased father and it enrages her brother and her nephew, who then try to steal some of it from her.

On his death bed in the United States Mr. Lin grants his grandson, Lin Tien-Chi, his wealth of US$300 million, but only if Tien-Chi can find a wife within a month. Tien-Chi, however, is very shy and has never had any luck with the opposite sex. Mr. Lin's nephew, Robert, who will get the money should Tien-Chi fail, does everything in his power to prevent Tien-Chi from marrying. In the end, Tien-Chi has two women to choose from: Feng Mu-Jen, who is deceiving him to help Robert get the money, and Lo Hsiao-Hsiao, a beautiful poor girl who is set up time and again by Robert and Mu-Jen so that Tien-Chi will not choose her.

Hong Kong might be enjoying unprecedented prosperity in the late 1960s, but the poverty-stricken stories of the Tramp remain appealing. Cheng Kwun-min, veteran character actor best known in the era of Cantonese cinema as Elvis of the East, builds on his newfound stardom in the television era by teaming up with fellow members of the popular variety show Enjoy Yourself Tonight to stage this Chaplin redux. The film offers several clever duplications of Chaplin's gags and Cheng's Charlie retains much of the Tramp's essence, in both mannerisms and the determination to remain dignified despite poor social standings. Cheng was so fond of playing the character he celebrated the 30th anniversary of his showbiz life with another turn as the Tramp, in Charlie Catches the Cat (1969).

A Shaw Brothers Chinese Opera based on the Qing dynasty musical play that recounts the death of the Ming dynasty through the love story of its two main characters, young scholar Hou Fangyu and a courtesan named Li Xiangjun.

In search for her perfect groom, Sit (Tang Bik-wan) goes to a bordello and falls in love with talented Lee (Mak Bing-wing). To avenge his son's death, the Imperial Tutor tricks the couple into joining force in overthrowing the emperor and plans to accuse them of treason. Sit, who turns out to be the emperor's long-lost daughter, follows Lee to the palace for investigation. In the film, Tang Bik-wan put on various guises in her character, e.g. dressing as an ugly and Zhongshan dialect-speaking woman when she weds, disguising as a man while investigating. She proved herself a well-rounded diva with her marvellous singing, switching between different dialects and operatic styles. The scenes with Mak Bing-wing also show great chemistry, as the duo evolve from quarrelsome lovers to husband and wife.

Disguised as a man, Hua Mulan joins the army to protect her family. She proves her worth in battle, earning the trust of her comrades. After successfully tricking the enemy, she is wounded and cared for by fellow soldier Du. Mulan’s true identity is revealed, but she is spared execution through the support of her comrades.
