S. S. Rajendran

Shree is a 2002 Tamil action film directed by Pushpavasagan which stars Suriya in the title role, with Shrutika and Gayatri Jayaraman in supporting roles. The film met with a poor response, critically and made poor business at the box office .

Rishi, a thief, happens to own a floppy incriminating a minister of murder. Things turn chaotic when his lookalike Velu is targeted by the minister for the footage.

Satya (Silambarasan) is the son of a police constable. He gets into fights and ends up in jail where his own father gets him out on bail. While he is returning home from a party drunk, a group of college students beat him up. That is when Suchitra (Rakshitha) comes and takes him to the hospital and gives blood. She is the daughter of a police commissioner. Later, Satya falls in love with Suchitra. That leads to several problems which are faced bravely by Satya in the later part of the film. Durai, an upright man, lies to his employer about having an identical twin when he is caught acting in a play. Things get complicated when his employer's daughter falls in love with the invented twin.

When Shankar finds out about this, he thinks everything is finished. The police arrest him for killing Manikam. Vasanthan (S. S. Rajendran) goes to America for higher studies. During his absence, his widowed mother Karpagam (C. T. Rajakantham) manages their glass factory at Salem with help of manager Balu (T.
