The film biography of Queen Victoria focusing initially on the early years of her reign with her marriage to Prince Albert and her subsequent rule after Albert's death in 1861.

This early docudrama uses dramatic reenactment, working models of early flying machines, and archival footage to trace man's attempts to fly from ancient times through the 1930s.

The film concerns a police hunt for the criminal known as The Frog.

Biography of popular English composer Leslie Stuart (Robert Morley), who rose to fame through performances of his songs by the tenor Ellaline Terriss (Dorothy Hyson). The peak of Stuart's success in the early 1900s is followed by poverty and obscurity with the arriving Jazz Age. In debtor's prison, Stuart is rescued by friends from happier times, and achieves a comeback in British music halls shortly before his death.

Dexter becomes involved in a revolution and is asked to hide the Queen. This leads to misunderstanding with his firm and his fiancee.

The public walk through the grounds of Kew Gardens and enjoy the flowers. Meanwhile, serious botanical research is conducted behind the scenes.
