Ecki is a sweet, closeted gay man who works in his family’s bakery and plays goalie in his small town’s soccer team. When he both loses the big game, and is caught flirting with another player, his homophobic teammates throw him out. He vows to return one day with an all-gay team that will grind the heteros into the dust, so he sets off to find his “dream team.” With the help of his nurse sister, Ecki scours local gay bars and eventually assembles a hilariously motley but endearing crew of misfits that includes a leather-daddy threesome, a femme Turk with Beckham fantasies, a secret straight guy in love with the sister, and a seriously cute nurse eager for some private play-time with the goalie. Ecki now has two problems – turning this bunch into a team, and facing his own fears regarding his first romance.

Alex, Fedja, Timo and Lara are four troubled teens for whom the upcoming Christmas eve isn't a time of peace and joy: Since they all have a history of escalating family conflicts, they'll be spending the holidays not at home, but in a psychiatric ward. The utterly different adolescents not only have to adjust to one another, but also have to confront themselves in exhausting therapy sessions. He also finds his new colleagues, Jenni Holstenbeck and Malte Schuster, somewhat suspect. And then things go from bad to worse. Mayor Hinrichs is found dead in his stables. Sörensen quickly realises that there is a lot of bad blood hidden behind the small town's tranquil facade and some well-founded reasons for anxiety...

Sörensen is overwhelmed, not only by the shocking situation, but also by his own demons, which are gaining power over him again. The villagers reject him, and as fear takes hold of him again, he will soon realize that it won't just be a corpse.

Shortly after Swedish police detective Gunnar Barbarotti receives at home an anonymous letter during his holiday announcing the murder of some Anna, the bloodily stabbed corpse of Anna Palme is found. It's the first of a few murders with clues ahead, one naming Gunnar as mark. Barbarotti lists 60 possible vindictive persons from his past. Considering some of them proves dangerous, but probably futile as he stumbles onto the twins Kalle and Ole Borg's family intrigue.

The tide washes up a slain Viking warrior on the beach in Husum: the unusual "dead body by the sea" is not a case for historians, however, but for the police and detective Ria Larsen. Marlene Tanczik plays the battered but combative investigator in the second film in the Saturday evening crime series on the first channel. Christoph Letkowski plays her partner Brandt, who believes in Ria's special abilities and is loyal to her.
