Randy Rhoads’ guitar riffs re-shaped rock ‘n roll and raised the stakes for guitarists around the world. Dallas has been added to Van Halen's latest tour - and today's show won't cost fans a cent. Lead singer Sammy Hagar is keeping a promise he made in 1988 when he stopped a concert at the Cotton Bowl to apologize, saying his voice was weak because of a sinus infection and strep throat. "Like a fool, I said, 'I'll do a free concert for you folks,'" Hagar recalled. The show was scheduled in the afternoon at West End Marketplace in Dallas, TX on December 4th, 1991 with an estimated 80,000 fans in attendance. Sammy Hagar's promise ended up costing the band about $200,000. Live: Right Here, Right Now. is the one and only live album by American hard rock band Van Halen, released in 1993. The album combines songs performed over two nights in May 1992 at the Selland Arena in Fresno, CA. The bulk of the songs on this album were from the first night, such as the solos performed by Eddie Van Halen and Sammy Hagar.

On June 11-13, 1981, Van Halen recorded their performances of "Hear About It Later", "So This Is Love?", and "Unchained" at the Oakland Coliseum. The three videos were aired as promos on MTV and other tv networks.

This show is the only known show from the 'OU812 Tour' that was professionally filmed.
