Malhação is a Brazilian television series for the teenage audience. The soap started in 1995, and was set in a fictional Gym Club called Malhação on Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro. The story's theme is spiritualism, viewed through the lens of past-life regression. Floriano Ferraz is a skeptical sculptor tormented by severe shoulder pain and visions of a woman dying at his feet.
