An American Army Major goes AWOL to Hong Kong for an outlawed martial arts contest called the Kumite.

Agent 999 is sent to a remote Chinese island to capture a notorious bandit named Rolex. Upon arrival, 999 begins to suspect that something is wrong, and soon learns that the island is inhabited by flesh-eating cannibals under control of a tribal chief. 999 ultimately teams up with Rolex to overthrow the evil chief and escape the island.

Fu Sheng plays Sheng, a playboy who has all the latest cars and technology along with all the tricks for courting the ladies. Sheng’s mom (Lee Heung Kam) along with her personal nurse, Mei (Cherie Chung), arrive in Hong Kong with the intentions of getting Sheng to marry a woman of her liking. In Hong Kong, Circa 1940s, World War II, private detective Yoyo and friend Inspector Teddy Robin join a resistance group during the Japanese occupation. They aim to steal back the formula to the atomic bomb from a war traitor and transfer it to an American before the formula ends up in the Japanese emperor's hands.

In the 50s, a bar waitress, Lucy lived with her boyfriend Tim in the same apartment. Tim was a US sailor and he had to leave Hong Kong after the holiday. He abandoned Lucy after she was pregnant. Out of rage, Lucy committed suicide and killed her baby boy too. She swore to kill Tim after death. Hsiao's wife and daughter have been possessed by Lucy and her son and Lucy wants to kill Hsiao on his birthday…

This film is a Hong Kong version of the British Carry On films, this one specifically set in a hospital. The hospital is full of inept people, so Miss Kuk (Meg Lam) vows to the board that she will reform it. This involves the recruitment of student nurses, keeping in check some silly interns and dealing with Dr. Chen, whose wife just left him.

Alex To plays a handsome fashion designer trapped in a tangle of ambiguous relationships that becomes even more complex when he falls for a beautiful D.J. (Cecilia Yip) who, with the help of her best friend (Cherie Chung), is trying to get out of an arranged marriage. This film looks and sounds like a comedy, but has some serious comments about a veiled segment of Hong Kong.

Their thinking, actions and spirit seek to free themselves from the shackles of old traditional ideas. They are willful and uninhibited. During a gangsters’ meeting, two gangs come into conflict. In the end, all are arrested by detective Oolong. As juvenile delinquents, they are sent to be under the supervision of a female probation officer.
