Macdara Vallely

Ever get the feeling someone is talking about you?

Since she can remember, teenager Lena has watched her mom Lucy squander her life on a series of deadbeat men. When Victor (her mom's latest boy toy) starts hitting on her, Lena sets up an elaborate honey-trap, hoping to show her mom what a scumbag the guy really is.

In Northern Ireland during the Peace Process Colin is a joyriding hood who couldn't give a toss about the political situation, but a chance encounter with a ruthless detective turns him into an informer for the so-called forces of law and order and a target for retribution for his father's old mates in the IRA.

John Philip Holland is the Clare born inventor of the modern submarine. A self proclaimed pacifist, he created one of the most formidable weapons of war. An Irish patriot, whose first working submarines were funded by Irish revolutionaries in the US, he later developed the first US and British submarine fleets. A self taught genius of the late 19th century, his remarkable legacy is neglected and forgotten.
