A newly graduated young doctor has hopes of making his way steadily in his country, or of traveling to another country in order to achieve his dreams. In the village, he wakes up from his rosy dream he lived before he traveled to a harsh reality, after he is accused of murder.

Two friends are trying to find a suitable place to stay. They find a suitable residence for a woman to live alone. The owner of the house rents a room in the apartment to the two friends without the woman knowing during her absence, which generates funny ironies among everyone.

Three Palestinian men strive to escape the hardships of life in a refugee camp. Under the scorching sun, the men enlist the help of an old man, Abu Al-Khaizuran, to smuggle them in an empty water tank across the desert.

Soliman is an idealistic young lawyer who is in love with Bassima. As he fights a bitter battle with his rivals, victory slips away from him as he hesitates to finish some unfinished business, causing him to lose both the battle and his sweetheart.

After the assassination of the Palestinian artist Naji Al-Ali in London in 1987, the film flashes back to the stops that he went through in his life, starting from his displacement with his family to Lebanon, to his work in Kuwait, to his return to Lebanon during the Lebanese civil war.

Three young men from different social classes, brought together by circumstances and coincidence, each with his whims, requirements, ambitions, and frustrations, seek to seize a sum of money found in the home of a rich man. They hatch a plan to infiltrate the house, manage to obtain the money and escape.

When Abu Sayyah decides to travel to Beirut in search for a trading opportunity, he meets a filming crew and falls in love with one of the actresses, who aspires to be the film star. He decides to produce the film for her sake, but the girl warns him against it.
