Like the hippies of yesteryear, several couples set up their own community in the heart of the Cévennes. Despite the total freedom of this lifestyle, teenager Anya becomes increasingly withdrawn and ultimately goes to live deep in the woods, much to the consternation of her family and the concern of the local population.

Corsica in the 19th century. An isolated farm at the edge of some scrub. Left to alone by his parents, Fortunato must deal with a fugitive who asks the boy to hide him in exchange for a gold coin. From then on, the boy finds himself caught up in a world of male violence.

Shirley and Dino arrive in Paris to take over a cabaret inherited from their uncle. On the verge of bankruptcy, the establishment is coveted by local hoodlums, ready to do anything to get rid of the new owners. But this is without counting on the inventiveness, innocence and tenacity of Shirley and Dino... who have one week to save their Cabaret Paradis.
