A boating accident off the coast of Spain sends Paul and his girlfriend Barbara to the decrepit fishing village of Imboca. As night falls, people start to disappear and things not quite human start to appear. Paul is pursued by the entire town. Running for his life, he uncovers Imboca's secret..they worship Dagon, a monstrous god of the sea...and Dagon's unholy offspring are on the loose...

The film centres on Moncho and his coming-of-age experience in Galicia in 1936. Moncho develops a close relationship with his teacher Don Gregorio who introduces the boy to different things in the world. While the story centres on Moncho's ordinary coming-of-age experiences, tensions related to the looming Spanish Civil War periodically interrupt Moncho's personal growth and daily life.

Two children, Pancho and Birutas, who live peacefully in the same village, are platonically in love with Xonxa. One of them, El Birutas, has to emigrate in search of a better future, leaving Xonxa and Pancho in the village.

A group of doctors that investigate the capacities of the human brain and the dreams discover that the reality can be more dangerous that the nightmares.

The film is based on the novel (of the same name) by the Chilean writer Francisco Coloane, and on the chronicles of the Romanian engineer Julius Popper, a nationalized Argentine and one of the principle actors in the genocide of the Selk'nam, one of the indigenous peoples who inhabited the Tierra del Fuego Archipelago.

Sister Angela and Sister Mary park his van in front of a bank branch. They enter the bank and with the weapons hidden under their habits, commit the robbery of the century, to the astonishment of all employees and customers. After thorough police investigation the two nuns are arrested, but then appears Trini, twin sister of one of them and now all is not so clear. Were the nuns who committed the robbery?

This film weaves out of reality and fantasy and present day to the past through flashbacks from it's very beginning that the viewer is playing catchup to a film that never really gets off the ground. This is the story of Olmo whose mother left his father when he was young and is brought up to believe she is dead. The father and son live under an Argentine dictatorship and live in a warehouse spending their days cataloging and archiving anything and everything from toys to chairs and a vast collection of subversive propaganda. After the father's sudden death, Olmo sets off in the real world with the help of a young woman he has met to Galicia, Spain clutching a postcard that his mother had sent from there many years before.
