Kubrick’s War tells the extraordinary, untold story behind Stanley Kubrick’s iconic 1987 film Full Metal Jacket—a production defined by obsession, conflict, innovation and artistic brilliance. Built around over 30 new interviews with cast and crew members, including Matthew Modine, Vincent D’Onofrio and Arliss Howard, this feature documentary takes audiences inside Kubrick’s fiercely demanding creative process. At its heart are newly uncovered, previously unheard audio interviews with Kubrick himself, alongside never-before-released recordings of the director rehearsing with the film’s actors at Pinewood Studios in 1986. Intimate and revealing, these recordings allow the famously private filmmaker to guide viewers through the triumphs, tensions and audacious decisions behind his masterpiece.

Following his dismissal from a television reality show, a deranged young man lures a group of beautiful coeds to his abode by telling them they will be the stars of a new show he is creating. What the women do not know is that when they lose their slot on the show, they lose their lives as well.
