Mirsad is a 62-year-old electrician who was raised and lives in a patriarchal society. His daily routine changes after the sudden death of his wife Enisa. Mirsad stays alone while his grown children live their own lives. As Mirsad tries to get used to a life without his wife, he realizes that he took her for granted and had not given her the love and care she deserved. Mirsad's relationship with his estranged son worsens after he discovers that the son lives with a male friend.

As she removes the burnt beans from the stove, Amra tries to stay strong in front of her mother who doesn't even know what day it is. The hard night ends with a lullaby that Amra sings to her mother, treating her like a baby.

It is 1995. The summer when the war operation Storm will take place. Boro, who is going to be forty in a year and a half, with his wife Jasna and son Luka goes to his home village Drinovci, Herzegovina, after seven years. He wants to see his brother who managed to leave Sarajevo with his family. Boro knew that his brother was wounded, but when he sees him after many years, he discovers that the brother will spend the rest of his life in wheel chair. Boro constantly fights with Jasna, and he doesn't speak at all to his father Pako, whom he blames for his mother's death. In two weeks in August 1995, Boro will solve the years long dispute with his father, he will learn to be a better husband and a father.

A modern comedy which takes place between a dream and a reality, with characters caught in the middle of seeking their own identity, facing custom and radition, and lying in order to meet expectations of the environment.
