Brussels. Seventeen-year-olds Eden and Abdel carry out a terrorist attack in their school. Isabelle and Adamo, two paramedics who rush to the scene after the explosion, find Eden injured and unconscious, and load him into the ambulance without imagining that he is one of the terrorists. When Isabelle realizes that he is wearing an explosive belt, it is too late: Eden has woken up.

What is more, he is in trouble with the law. At the police station, he encounters heavyweight Bobo who asks him for all his money. When Max refuses, Bobo gets the impression that he must be tough. In reality, he just wants to be left alone. In his good old days, Max never cared for anyone, so now there is no one he can turn to. Bobo, who spent all his life in foster homes and youth centers, seems to be the only one to care for him. Together they devise a plan to find some quick money. Bobo's idea is to rob a jewelry store.

After a bull is killed in a bullfight, its body parts are transported across Spain, France, Italy and Belgium. The bull's parts fall into the wide variety of people, including: an Italian actress selling the bones in a supermarket promotion, a Spanish woman who dines on its steaks, a little girl in France who imagines a world where animals are much larger than humans, and a taxidermist whose wife is simultaneously giving birth to quintuplets.
