The young clerk Poul Wang is squandering his fortune on festive pleasures while being shadowed by a mysterious unknown figure. Baldur Justesen is the owner of an ice cream parlor in a Copenhagen suburb. He is a smooth and unassuming man who works hard to keep it running. It is not quite that easy.
