Ranjana

Sajjala, an orphan, is raised by Appakaka, her father's friend. When Appakaka is falsely charged with killing Jayantrao, Sajjala's betrothed, she vows to prove his innocence.

Sakharam comes to city in search of work. He starts assisting his uncle, who works as a typist outside the post office. One night, he meets Shalan, who has killed her stalker and asks Sakharam to pose as her husband in order to escape from cops. Sakharam can't take Shalan's arrogance and decides to teach her a lesson.

Two men, who are lazy and always looking to make quick money through dishonest means, work for a local politician, Phule. Eventually, their wives and other women decide to teach them a lesson.
