To mark the release of his latest album, Poètes, Serge Lama is giving a unique recital at the Théâtre Marigny, surrounded by some of the biggest names in French music. But beyond the names, it is the entire French music scene that will be there to say thank you. Artists, friends, collaborators, voices that have always resonated with his own, and actors he loves, such as Pierre Arditi and Mathilde Seigner, will be there to pay tribute to him. In May 1974, Valéry Giscard d'Estaing became President of the Republic and wanted to bring about a new era of modernity. One of his first decisions was to break up the ORTF with the creation of three new television channels: TF1, Antenne 2 and FR3. Three new public channels but autonomous and competing. It is a race for the audience which is engaged then, and from now on the channels will make the war! This competition will give birth to a real golden age for television programs, with variety shows in the forefront. The stars of the song are going to invade the living rooms of the French for their biggest pleasure. This unedited documentary tells the story of the metamorphosis of this television of the early 1970s, between freedom of tone, scandals, political intrigues and programs that have become mythical.

Three friends navigate the ups and downs of love, relationships, and adulthood, each facing their own romantic challenges. One struggles with commitment, another finds himself caught in a web of misunderstandings, and the third embarks on a series of flirtations that lead to comedic complications. As their lives intersect, their friendships are tested through humorous and often absurd situations. Through a mix of heartwarming and chaotic moments, they each attempt to find happiness while dealing with the unpredictability of love and life.

In this documentary, Serge Lama reveals himself to Mireille Dumas as he had never done before. The artist comes back on the important moments of his life. He talks about love, about the women he has sung to throughout his career, about his possessive and tyrannical mother, about his father, an operetta singer who became a beer merchant out of necessity, and who he would like to avenge at all costs by shining on the stage of the Olympia. He also tells of the pain of having lost his first love in a terrible accident.
