The police find the bodies of four bank robbers and the money from their last robbery burned. The fifth member of the gang, Toni, who was supposed to collect the money, tries to unravel the mystery. As Toni looks for the intellectual mentor of the assault, he remembers how you got into that situation.

Heitor and Matilde are two siblings who decide to murder their rich father in order to quickly inherit his wealth. They get the killing done, aided by Matilde's boyfriend Henrique, but after a while the three of them begin to recieve mysterious notes which suggest that their secret is in danger.

Poor boy treats a sweet lemon tree as his only friend, talking to it, and learning important values in the process. But one day the tree must be cut.
