With the help of a friend, the young couple manages to rent a small apartment. However, their life is not going well. Peter begins to cheat on Bozena. Accidentally met Joe slips the girl a drug. One time was enough for Bozena to go in search of an illusory land of happiness - Alabama, which does not exist. However, the girl finds out too late.

Christmas is an occasion for four friends to summarize the previous year of their lives.

By a twist of fate, a Warsaw crook becomes a translator at a reunion of high school graduates in a small town. There he learns about a treasure buried by the participants of the ceremony. The film, completed in 1972 was shelved by the censors and believed lost until it was found and finally released in 2009.

Wacław Kaczmarski has been breeding pigeons for many years, which is a family tradition (his grandfather and father bred pigeons before him). The birds are an important part of his life; he spends every free moment with them, and they are his escape from everyday worries. Kaczmarski and his family live in Targówek in old apartments that are scheduled for demolition. He gets a new apartment in Ursynów, where he immediately installs pigeon boxes on the balcony. The neighbors are outraged.
