Todd Bartoo

An enforcer for the mob enacts revenge on those who wronged her.

Some people take their coffee straight, others take it with a little cream and sugar.

The fourth short film collection gives its creators special artistic expression: as if under a magnifying glass, it shows snapshots of lives of teens and young men as they fall in love and try to understand the unexpected. The 6 short films are: Sexy Grandpa (2001); Coffee (2004); Thermopylae (2005); The Love Within (2016); Romeo's Kiss [Le baiser] (2007); Love, Death & Cars (2008).

This third volume of award-winning gay-themed shorts serves up a spectrum of complex emotions -- from coming-of-age angst to secretive shame. Selections include writer-director Anthony Meindl's "Ready? OK!" in which an 11-year-old boy discovers a passion for cheerleading, and Todd Bartoo's "Coffee," in which two friends investigate a rumor that their best friend's ex is gay. Other works include Nick Oceano's "El Primo" and Adam Lipsius's "4º."

Eric is a gay man with a problem. Turns out that his lover Josh is having an affair with his best friend Liz, a woman. He comes up with a wickedly perverse solution to his problem.
