The King and the Thief: one is a rich ruler, the other is a poor gardener named Lešek, who loves his Jolanka. But her father doesn't want to give her to him as his wife unless she brings him a ring and a bag of gold coins. And then Leška meets the devil and offers him a magic hat that will make him invisible, and a feather that will open any closed safe. It's hard to resist and not steal. But, as the devil says, everyone can decide for themselves whether to choose the path to hell. You can see how it turned out for Lešek and who the devil took away in this fairy tale based on Polish folk motifs.

A modern retelling of Erben's fairy tale from 1980 tells the story of a prince who failed to look after an apple tree from which golden apples were disappearing. So he has to set out on a journey to find the thief - the Firebird. On his journey, he has many adventures and finally realizes that there are more important values ​​in life than material ones. He is helped by his love for a red-haired princess, who teaches him to unlearn pride and helps him find a new relationship with life. The prince stops overestimating grandeur and wealth and discovers that the most important values ​​in life are sincere human relationships.

The fairy tale "Beauty and the Beast" has been adapted countless times. For example, as a ballet or as a famous French film. The writer F. Hrubín retold it for children, and a television story about the brave Rozárka and the cursed king was also created based on his original work.

When three wandering musicians met the Lord of the Forest, they hardly thought of what good it would do them. They certainly began to prosper from that time on. They obtained peas, which made them invisible, and a flask of water, which canceled the spell of invisibility. Before long, they were lucky enough to put these gifts to good use. Alienation between the closest relatives is always a serious disorder of family judgment. Father and son not only do not see each other, but one does not even recognize the other when they meet by chance. No wonder, since the father has been in prison for a long time and his son was raised by a former family friend after his mother's death...

Sarcastic comedy about the Czechoslovakia of the seventies. A young gynaecologist can't figure out whether to get serious with a young nurse or to stay casual with his married lover. Things get complicated when both women don't want to play his game anymore.

The first short story "Naked in the Thorns" tells the story of a man whose clothes were taken away by a dog during his bath in the river. In the second short story "Games of Love", a retired professor paints a biblical scene of Susan and the old man. In the last short story, "Fidelity", the dog Argos perishes while defending his beloved master.

The film was based on the novel "Milión" by Karel Štorkán. The book and the film depict the events surrounding the great construction disaster in Prague in 1928, in which 46 construction workers died. The disaster thrilled the entire republic at the time, yet was never fully explained. The filmmakers focus on the story of Ing. Vondrák, the designer of the construction.
