Don Matteo is a thoroughly ordinary Catholic priest with an extraordinary ability to read people and solve crimes. He’s a parish priest who never met an unjustly accused person he didn’t want to help.

Lugano, Switzerland. Titta Di Girolamo is a discreet and sullen man who has been living for almost a decade in a modest hotel room, a prisoner of an atrocious routine, apparently without purpose. His past is a mystery, nobody knows what he does for a living, he answers indiscreet questions evasively. What secrets does this enigmatic man hide?

Elisa, the daughter of an ordinary family, has been in prison for ten years for brutally murdering her sister. She believes she doesn’t remember what happened, but her fragmented memories begin to come into focus during meetings with the criminologist Alaoui, who is conducting a study on family homicides. The truth that emerges for Elisa is devastating—a pain that may mark the beginning of redemption.

During the traditional carnival celebrations, the dead body of a young girl is found near the small town of Bellinzona, in Southern Switzerland. The officers engaged in the case find themselves investigating crimes rooted in a past full of shadows.

Jullo, Edo, and Chiara: three teenagers among thousands. Three teenagers who live for sport. Jullo is his skateboard, Chiara conquers the world on skis, Edo is a graffiti artist. One day, Jullo, Chiara, and Edo suddenly discover their own lives, each in their own way. Fears, dreams, surprises, loneliness, insecurity, expectations, instability, imbalance. Then a moment, a second, a click. A click that leads them to rediscover themselves, that leads them into adulthood, or that relentlessly sweeps them away.

The story of an adult and a teenage couple during a brief summer holiday by the sea. While Nic's parents remain trapped in a precarious mutual dependency despite repeated attempts at reconciliation, their 12-year-old son tries to come to terms with his father's traumatizing violent outbursts in games with other children. He tries to teach Marie, who is of his age and suffers from her own relationship with her father, to feel nothing. In fact, both of them are transformed by their experience of the joys and pains of first love.
