A man believes that the baby in his livingroom is the "surprise" his wife messaged him about, and must contend with the real father's attempts to get his daughter back.

Bobby, the doughboy, has left his sweetheart behind in Paris. He returns for her and has the greatest difficulty locating her. In his hunt he runs into the tough White Rat Cafe, where the Darling of Paris becomes enamored of him, thereby arousing the jealousy of her lover, who threatens Bobby with dire consequences. Bobby escapes, runs into his sweetheart, and in the chase, the villain at his heels is captured by the police as a badly wanted criminal.

Unable to pay his hotel bill Bobby has to become a bellboy to cover the cost. Among the many complications that ensue he finds himself handing from the hotel's ledge from many stories up.

At a magic show put on by Blondini the magician, a member of the audience is invited up to participate. He gets into all sorts of shenanigans, tripping over the stage curtain, sending ducks up through the wrong trapdoors. He can hardly believe his eyes when a girl is sawn in half!

In many ways, this reminds me of another Bobby Vernon film, RENO OR BUST. That's because both films star Bobby and consist of him trying to rescue his lady from being forced to marry a man she doesn't love. However, in this case she's being forced to marry the king of a fictional country and the king, unbeknownst to his subjects, is already married.

A city chap, who as the result of a ducking, is forced to wear "rube" clothes. He meets a cabaret dancer who thinks to have fun by kidding him and keeping up the bluff he goes to the cabaret in this make-up. His action finally necessitates calling the police and in making a getaway he dons a ballet girl's costume.

This is another comedy, in which trick photography plays a large part. It is a travesty on the temperance question, siding with the dry element. On the refusal of the Governor to sign a bill in favor of the liquor interest, the political boss tries to force the executive to his will. The Governor, after a series of thrilling experiences, thwarts the efforts of the politicians. The latter calls on Lady Baffles, who impersonates the Governor's wife and secures the executive's signature to the bill. Madcap Gloria disguises herself as a man, in order to lure a "dangerous" vamp away from her beau, Bobbie.

A band of crooks, headed by Harry Gribbon, are on a train when they learn of a telegram sent to a fellow passenger, who is a police commissioner. The wire identifies him as official collector for the Old Cops' Home. A little chloroform does for him and when the train pulls out of his destination he is still on board while Gribbon is posing as the commissioner-collector.

While working his way through college, Paul Potter acquires a flock of wealthy friends who encourage him to give up his hometown fiancée, Sylvia Castle, for Muriel Evers, a flirtatious married woman. After Sylvia releases Paul, and Muriel's husband divorces her for infidelity, Paul and Muriel marry. Meanwhile, when Sylvia's father dies after being ruined in the stock market, she goes from one job to another in the city until she tries acting in a stock company. There she befriends Henry Leamington, an alcoholic leading man, who, as he tutors her, falls in love and stops drinking because of her. When Paul discovers Muriel's unfaithfulness, he renews his acquaintance with Sylvia, who still loves him.

When Mack Sennett first saw Gloria Swanson, he felt that she would be right as a romantic lead for Bobby Vernon because they were both small in stature. This was their first film together and they proved to be a big hit with the public.

Dorothy loves Bobby's friend, sure enough, but she tantalizingly puts off from date to date the march to "Lohengrin's" popular excerpt. The hopeful bridegroom must marry within a specified time to meet the terms of a will that means, for him, a fortune.

In this short, a restless newlywed, tired of the routine of married life, decides to sow a few more wild oats. Little does he realize that the young woman he’s singled out for a dalliance is his wife’s school chum, visiting from out of town. Complications ensue when the girls decide to teach the errant husband a lesson.

Mandy promises to marry Bob, if Shultz, her father, will consent. Shultz dislikes Bob, so the young couple are upset, that is, until the real boss of the house, Shultz's wife, has her say. The matter then becomes one of violent contention. The Shultz household is brought close to rupture. Shultz had planned to spend a few weeks hunting with a couple of boon companions, all unbeknown to Wifie. She discovers his scheme and promptly locks him up. This is too much for Shultz; it is the culmination of many woes. He decides to die. But the old horse pistol is cartridgeless, the poison bottle empty, and his leap of despair from the second story window is softly broken. Nothing remains but a watery grave.
