Roland is an avant-garde artist in Venice, California whose sister lives on their family's estate in Venice, Italy. Their father is near death and announces that his home and priceless collection of art have been bequeathed to the Italian government.

A twisted 16mm Gen X comedy disguised as a 1970s drive-in flick, KILL THE MOONLIGHT is the story of Chance, a fish hatchery worker, toxic waste cleaner, and aspiring race car driver whose goal in life is to fix up his Camaro and follow his dreams of championship glory. As the film unfolds, Chance unravels in strange ways after getting contaminated by toxic waste.

Chance, a hapless Los Angeles musician is searching for the coveted Moletron synthesizer through the classified ad paper the "Southlander", and meeting interesting characters along the way.
