Arevik is a young woman taking care of the children of a widower who is in jail, due to her testimony.

The inhabitants of a mountainous Armenian village live a normal life, which abounds in tragic and comic, sad and happy moments. Arayik, a native of that village, takes a long time to realize his origins.

Nothing is easy for Torik, a shy orphan adopted by his aunt and uncle: he struggles to fit into village life, learn a craft, or find a wife. When Torik does fall in love – with Anjel, a local prostitute – he must face down the disapproval of his narrow-minded community and assert his right to happiness.

Fyodor and Kseniya for many years worked at various construction sites. They constantly moved from one hostel to another and dreamed of their own cozy nest. Their dream came true after fifteen long years, and this made them incredibly happy. Kseniya is pregnant, the characters will finally begin a new life and become a full-fledged family. Fyodor is convinced that his calling is to provide for his family. He works hard and rarely sees his family. Kseniya lacks his attention. The couple began to move away from each other.

A young taxi driver comes across a profitable business: to drive a new Volga to the Caucasus. Having deceived his boss, he arranges for a few days at his own expense and goes on a trip. On the way, risking his life, he saves a bus with children from a disaster, but at the same time the Volga receives serious damage.
